Fellow

Fellow wants to be your partner in brewing a "ridiculously good cup of coffee". This San Francisco based upstart began as a Kickstarter campaign in 2013. The company has always endeavoured to create new and different coffee brewing equipment; pieces that are both beautiful and functional.

Their first product to market was the Duo Coffee Steeper. Dissatisfied with the performance of traditional French presses (too much grounds or sludge in the finished product), and finding Pour-Over methods to be too finicky, the team at Fellow set about finding a way to combine the best of both methods. The result is the Duo Coffee Steeper. The user just adds hot water and coffee to the stainless-steel chamber and waits four minutes. The chamber is fitted with dual, ultra-fine stainless steel filters which remove all of the coffee grounds and alleviates the need for paper-filters. After four minutes the user simply twists the top chamber to release the bright, boldly flavoured coffee into the glass carafe at the bottom.

Fellow's catalogue of products expanded significantly in 2018.  Their Stagg EKG, an electric Pour-Over Kettle with variable, electronic temperature control, optional Bluetooth App activity, and minimalist design, won the Red Dot design award. They also launched the Corvo EKG, an electric variant of their successful Raven stovetop Kettle. The Corvo is heated by a 1200-Watt element and can maintain a programmed temperature for one hour. The electronic display shows temperature and includes a stopwatch function. The company also launched its Atmos line of storage containers. Available in three sizes made with either glass or matte black stainless steel. The Atmos line features an integrated vacuum air-removal pump; twisting the lid causes air to leave the container.
