Cafelat

Since its inception in 2008, Cafelat has been producing innovative high-quality products for the specialist coffee market. The company was founded by Mr. Paul Pratt, a renowned coffee professional in the high-end coffee sector. Mr. Pratt has been involved in many different aspects of the coffee industry for more than a decade. Beginning as a barista in 1995 Mr. Pratt went on to open his own retail coffee stores and develop a longstanding relationship with the famous espresso machine company La Marzocco. Mr. Pratt imported, sold and serviced La Marzocco machines in Asia. Borne of this working relationship and Mr. Pratt’s expertise, Cafelat develops products that are contemporary in design and highly functional for professional and home use. Cafelat works closely with a Danish design team located in Copenhagen Denmark to design unique products that share a cohesive aesthetic.

In addition to its reputation for functional design, Cafelat’s products are also known for their longevity and durability. Cafelat has a rigorous quality control process. From initial conceptualization through design and manufacturing, Cafelat uses both in-house and independent third-party laboratory testing as part of its quality control process.

 Their new all-in-one portafilter (Patents Pending) is both regular and naked. Made of stainless steel it is easier to clean and maintain than standard brass portafilters. Cafelat’s tampers feature twenty millimeters in adjustable handle height that is lockable at any point making it easy for baristas to customize the fit.

Tamping mats are an essential accessory for professional coffee preparation. Cafelat offers 3 different tamping mat designs; flat, corner and splat to suit every different application.
