Gaggia Classic Coffee Machine
Gaggia’s beloved Classic Pro Coffee Machine is truly iconic. The semi-automatic machine’s signature brushed stainless-steel housing and professional build quality make it one of the best entry-level single-boiler espresso machines which are built to last.
Designed and manufactured in Italy, the Gaggia Classic showcases Italian craftsmanship in the precision and control you have over your coffee extraction.
Its espressos and steamed milk are as good as you'll find in any commercial cafe setting. Built on a full stainless-steel housing and weighing seven and a half kilograms, it still has enough heft in it to weight it securely to the bench when using it. Gaggia’s classic minimalism, a small 140mm anodized aluminium boiler, is perfectly balanced by a powerful 1400-watt element, which makes the Gaggia Classic heat up super quick on start-up.
The three basic functions of the machine are represented with simple rocker switches and a light under each that indicates when that function is ready. To get hot water from the Classic Pro, simply press both the brew and the steam switch at the same time and then open the steam nozzle to dispense hot water from the professional steam wand.
Around for almost three decades, this Classic Machine’s coffee capabilities are simply impressive.

Upgraded from a breville espresso machine and there is no comparison between the two in the end product. As the classic pro Gaggia isn't much more than a new breville anyway I would thoroughly recommend you consider it next time you are in the market.
The Gaggia has only changed a little since my last Gaggia of twenty years died. I do not like the timer on the on switch. Sick of manufacturers making decisions for me. Cars that beep, fridges that beep etc. I get up turn on the machine to heat up while I have my cereal and then make the coffee and toast. By that time the machine has switched off and I then wait for it to reheat. Now I have a tooth pick stuck in the switch to keep it on. Maybe I can deactivate the timer so the switch will stay on. Cheers
Love the gaggia classic pro
It is a nice size and compact but it packs a punch. It can pull back to back coffees for me and my family of 4 every morning and the crema on the espresso's never disappoints. Not to mention it froths the milk to perfection each time
Gaggia Classic Pro
I purchased the Gaggia Classic Pro from Alternative Brewing. As my first introduction into a home espresso machine, I've found the Gaggia Pro an excellent machine... well made and simple to use... though I'm not into milky coffees so I can't comment on the steamer. Certainly happy with the purchase. Regards, Brad
Like any new toy once you get the hang of it, it's great. We thought our last machine (not a gaggia) made good coffee, this makes Fantastic coffee. Very well priced.
