Bodum is an iconic tableware design company that was started in Copenhagen Denmark over 70 years ago. Founded in 1944 by Peter Bodum, the family-owned company has always placed a premium on industrial design, collaborating with architects, graphic designers, and artists. In 1958 the company introduced its first coffeemaker based on a vacuum brewing method. Bodum went on to become renowned for its French Press coffeemaker as well as its unique Scandinavian design aesthetic.
